The Arrangements

Arranging a song, is like gathering a lot of active children in schools and making them obey you. It is not hard, but sometimes it is impossible. There are a lot of thoughts in my mind that i consider them as "active children". It is just a matter of consideration and time before i set my arrangements into a fixed mode.

I am learning a lot of new things everyday, everytime, as time goes each moment. Academic musical education is my background, so i started my arrangements with a lot of educational influences. As time goes by, my educational influences are influenced by the industrial / entertainment influences. I am not saying one of the influence is better, but both bring me very much positive thoughts.

These are my arrangements which had been uploaded into youtube.com, and credits for each of the uploaders.

(Exotic to) Joy
Originally titled Ode to Joy, written by L.V. Beethoven. I arranged this song for educational music book, and see how kids play it here.

Amapola
My arrangements for Improvisation competition inside in. Yamaha International Electone Concours 2008 in Tokyo. Originally written by José María Lacalle García  in slow tempo, i truned it upside down into a 70's disco style song.

I had arranged some other songs like Cindai (Pak Ngah Sungaimi) and El Cumbancero (Rafael Hernandez Marin) which are not uploaded yet, too.

Hope you can enjoy my arrangements!

The Compositions

Composing is like building something, firstly inside your mind, then execute it into real world. As i was learning music in music school, i also learned how to create my own music guided by my teachers and idols. Slowly but sure, my style was getting clear enough as i composed one song to another.

These are my uploaded composition videos, and all the videos are now still credited for those who uploaded

Angin (2007)
I performed this composition for Asia Electone Festival 2007 in Bangkok. Competing with 7 countries, as Indonesia's delegate, this piece brought me first prize of junior section. This piece was mainly influenced by Jamiroquai.

Global Powerization (2008)
I performed this peace for Yamaha International Electone Concours 2008, as delegation of Asia. This competition was the following the previous event, a competition of 8 countries, Asia Pacific Electone Festival 2008 in Jakarta. Dream Theater (Progressive Rock band) and Jaya Suprana (Indonesian Composer) were the main inspirators for me to compose this song.

Fly (2009)
One of the piece i performed in Yamaha International Electone Concours 2008 in Tokyo, Japan.

Smile of RainBoy(2009)
Same like Fly.

And many others, such like Opening Song at Rangking Selebriti (ANTV)

Hope you can enjoy my compositions!
